About Us
Sherlean Lee was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 at the age of 58. She started the Orlando, Florida chapter in 2005 and currently has over 40 members. Sherlean enjoys travel, reading and educating the community on breast cancer issues. Because of her hard work and dedication she has been awarded several honors for her breast cancer advocacy; including the Caregiver Award from Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, an Onyx Award nomination, an award from the local chapter of Delta Sigma Theta for outstanding community work, and an Honorable Mention from Sisters Network Inc. for her chapter's achievements only to name a few of the accolades that she has received.
